Allium ursinum L. ssp. ucrainicum Kleopow et Oxner

Flora Europaea

the original Linnean specimen (only the typical species)

A species which is not so frequent but rather occurs in large islands in some portions of nemoral forests. It is split into the typical species in western and Central Europe and this eastern one which is the most frequent in Romania. The difference (scabrous pedicels in the typical species, smooth one in ucrainicum) is quite subtle and seem to reflect a clinal gradient.
